Well, did she? Was the question ever answered?
ReplyDeleteBefore we can answer such a question, we must first understand what the question means; which could be just about anything really. It could relate to any door in a 30-mile radius; or it might refer to a port in Sudan, or it might be a roundabout way of asking me what we're having for lunch tomorrow. Truly, who can know such things?
ReplyDeleteIf you provide her with an answer, she'll probably re-work the question to suit.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, just as I was about to write this comment, an office joker (clearly of the ZANIEST and WACKIEST kind) came over to two girls sitting next to me and started playing Christmas jingles from his novelty tie. What made it worse is that this was well received by his audience, who actually laughed. Yegods.
Such people are probably quite dangerous..
ReplyDeleteOh, Gods, the thought of the traditional Christmas party and the "zany" and "wacky" characters who will come forth at such events... mark this fellow now, and avoid him like the Black Plague.
Sage advice here.
